To Junior Baseball

Published since 1996, Junior Baseball is America’s oldest magazine connecting baseball to kids 6-18. We know it’s tough to get boys this age to read. But with Junior Baseball, kids read cover-to-cover the game advice, entertainment and good clean fun we pack in every issue! If you’ve got a baseball fan in the house, you need Junior Baseball!

Many thanks for the years and great hours of reading Junior Baseball. The learning kids get from your magazine will last a lifetime.

I just wanted to let you know what a great magazine you have. I am a professional scout. I read the articles to my son each night, and they really have been a great tool for explaining certain things to him.

by G. Watson, San Diego Padres

We tried for years to get Andy to read, without much luck, until we discovered this magazine. Keep up the good work.

by W. Golden, Holt, MI

We wanted to write and commend Junior Baseball for putting out such a great magazine for kids and families who love baseball. We subscribed for our 13-year-old grandson and it is the only thing that he reads (besides his school books).

by U. Williamson, Omaha, NE

You have the finest youth baseball media of any I have ever seen. Baseball America is best for overall coverage; but you are the best for youth!

by Lt. Col. D. Valentine, Cumming, GA

Just wanted to drop you a line to say how impressed I am with your magazine. I had no idea there was a specific youth magazine and I once ran across it while in the visitors clubhouse in Houston. I played 10 years in the big leagues. With my experience both in USA Baseball and the Major Leagues I like what you are doing with the magazine.

by S. Servais, SF Giants

Not only is this magazine a great source for baseball knowledge, it also gets the youth player to read!

by S. Putnam, Savannah, GA

Your 'Pitching to Location' article was excellent and just what my son (and I) needed to prepare for the upcoming PONY season.

by P. Donelson, Butte, MT

We always look forward to the When I Was a Kid articles, as it helps make the players seem more like real people. Makes us feel like we have a shot at it someday too! Thanks for the best magazine!

by J. Querry, Syracuse, NY

I enjoyed the article 'Pitching With Your Head'. There is a growing epidemic of arm injuries in our youth baseball players. I applaud your magazine for educating the public about these injuries.

by B. Werries, MD

We've been getting Junior Baseball for 4 years. We love everything about the magazine. I'm going to start coaching our team this season and I really appreciate all the tips for coaches too.

by W. Phillips, Dallas, TX

When I read the 'When I Was a Kid' stories about the Major League players, I like the pictures of them when they were my age. They look just like they could be one of my friends on my team! I wonder if any of my friends on my team are going to be a Major League player someday, and you'll be interviewing them? I hope it's me, because I really want to play in the Majors someday. Your magazine is the best.

by J. Ringold, Des Moines, IA

I don't often make the time to write to a national magazine, but yours is not only informative and well-written, but laid-out in a way that makes reading it enjoyable for people of all ages. Thank you for making a positive difference in lives through the sport of baseball.

by N. Roque-Lugo

Great article on situational hitting. Every coach should have that article rolled up in his back pocket.

by W. Branch, Lubbock, TX

I am a high school catcher who reads your magazine all the time.

by J. Wilkinson

The whole family enjoys your magazine very much. There seems to be something for everyone. The tips, the regular columns, all have useful information.

by J. Turek, Milldale, CT

My 2 boys (8 and 12) love reading your magazine and fight over it as soon as I bring home the latest copy. I was also amazed to find articles of interest to me and other parents too. Great job - keep it up!

by D. Hammond, Spokane, WA

I'm a high school sophomore and I just want to tell you to keep up the great work you're doing for kids like me who have read most of your excellent magazines in the past. Your publishing has taught me many very important skills in baseball. I thank you for that.

by A. Vang, Conover, NC

My 10- and 11-year old sons and I think your magazine is very good, with lots of stories and tips on everything that has to do with baseball. We hope you will go on with Junior Baseball for many years to come.

by B. Rikkelman & sons, Holland, the Netherlands

I just wanted to write a short note and say how much we have enjoyed your magazine. As a youth league coach, it has had some really great articles. Keep up the good work.

by G. Bolt, Ferndale, WA

I like the way you guys break down the fundamentals of baseball in each different age group. I also like how you make it easy to understand. Thanks a lot for the best baseball magazine, it's the greatest!
